How do candidates and contacts opt-in/out of emails?

When sending email through CATS we automatically put an opt-out option below your signature. This allows candidates and contacts being emailed through our system to have an easy way let you know they're no longer interested in receiving email from your organization. Once opted out, CATS will automatically filter out any emails that you try to send that person through the system.

Should you want to have an opt-in option, or if a previously opted-out individual wants to receive emails again, you can have them enter their email address on your opt-in form. This will sent an email notification to that person to confirm their request.

You can view your opt-in/out lists within CATS by going to the Activities > Email Opt-in/Out area. You'll also find links to your opt-in/out pages towards the bottom of this page.
